ROXANNE HALLEY
     

Roxanne Halley is a Melbourne/Naarm-based director and actor with over a decade of professional experience in film, TV, and theatre across Australia and Asia.

As a trained actor, she specialises in using improvisation to create honest and engaging stories. An accomplished performer, she wrote and produced shows in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, premiering her debut solo show “Good Girl” in 2024.

In 2018, she completed a Commercial Director’s Attachment at Sweetshop Melbourne through Film Victoria and the Australian Director’s Guild “Gender Matters” program. Through this attachment, she became the in-house Director’s Assistant at Sweetshop Bangkok, working on treatments, filming behind-the-scenes content, and producing a music video for Mumford and Sons.

Her short films have screened at the Cannes Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival, Made in Melbourne, and the Environmental Film Festival Australia. Roxanne’s commercial clients include Gillette, Qantas, KidSafe, Somersby, Medibank, Cricket Australia, and The Snowdome Foundation.
