ROXANNE HALLEY
I’m Roxie, a Naarm/Melbourne-based director and actor with over a decade of experience in film, TV, and theatre across Australia and Asia.
An accomplished performer and comedy writer, I know how best to collaborate with both actors and non-actors. I have an eye for detail and a passion for getting to the heart of any story - whether it's a moving documentary or a stylised narrative concept.
I’ve been performing with the Improv Conspiracy Theatre since 2015 and have written, directed and performed shows at the 2018, 2022 and 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, premiering my debut solo sketch show 'Good Girl' in 2024. I have a particular interest in comedy and physical theatre, and have trained in improv, clown, bouffon and the Meisner technique.
My short films have screened at the Cannes Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival, Made in Melbourne, and the Environmental Film Festival Australia. My commercial clients include Kraft/Heinz, Gillette, Qantas, KidSafe, Somersby, Medibank, Cricket Australia, and the OCRF.
